One day, boredom levels in high school geometry class peaked, and John felt unable to contain his urge to run screaming from the room any longer. Suddenly, Ben turned around and passed him a single sheet of notebook paper with one crudely-drawn panel of a comic entitled: The Ben & John Show OR "Wastin' Time in Geometry." John gleefully drew a second panel and returned it, and so it began. Celebrity guests, gratuitous violence, and hosts that just wouldn't die...
The first episode of our bloodthirsty show lasted for weeks and took up four full pages of notebook paper, front and back. Some of the jokes in the comic involve the the page turns and/or the starting of a new sheet of paper, so I've preserved the "pages" for this on-line version. Ben dropped out at the end and I finished up the story's last few panels myself.
Episode Two was started before the completion of the first comic, and ended up being quite short-lived as Ben seemed to lose interest in the "project" and brought the story to an abrupt (but still pretty funny) end. The second episode only took up one side of one sheet of notebook paper.
The third and final episode was actually a solo project that I began and mostly drew during several rather tedious history and English lectures in college. However, I've only recently gone back and finally completed Episode Three in order to present it as a finished comic here.
Episode Three begins on Monday, April 7, and will be presented as a daily comic much like Episode One appeared in 2005, with one new panel being added each day until its completion.
