The Adventures of Gordran
This story may be the earliest surviving work of cooperative fiction that I wrote (and illustrated) together with Gordon Scott. In it, we follow poor, browbeaten "Gordran" the peasant as he attempts to make his way up in the medieval world, dreaming of one day becoming a valiant knight. Despite obstacles and setbacks that would have daunted lesser men, Gordran claws his way to the top, only to discover that all is not as it seems... at least not when these authors have ultimate control of his destiny!
