Another former co-worker, Stephanie, would occasionally bring these little nibblers to the office when we would have "food day" to celebrate the birthdays of the month. I loved these things, so I got the recipe, but I've only made them once myself. They're a lot of work.
Ingredients:
2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
½ cup soft butter
1 cup sifted flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
48 smallest variety of stuffed green olives
Instructions:
Blend cheese and butter. Stir in flour, salt, and paprika, mixing well. Wrap 1 teaspoon of mix around each olive, covering completely. Place on baking sheet and freeze until firm. Place in plastic bags and return to freezer. When ready to use, bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
