I visited my fiancee in Massachusetts in May 1998. Toward the end of my stay there, Amy and I took a day trip to Stockbridge, MA to visit the Norman Rockwell Museum. I was particularly excited to be there because at the time, they had a special exhibit up for my favorite illustrator, J.C. Leyendecker. Leyendecker was Rockwell's mentor and the chief illustrator for the Saturday Evening Post prior to Rockwell. I would have bought a Leyendecker keychain if they'd had any, but it wasn't his museum.
