My fiancee Amy was visiting me for Christmas in 1997, and she gave me a couple new keychains as gifts that year. This half of an amulet had a matching half that Amy used to have, but unfortunately she lost it. The full inscription is from Genesis 31:49 and would read "May the Lord watch between me and thee, while we are absent one from another."
