TFotR Clan Events

The Fellowship of the Rink has been an extremely active clan at times, but for the most part has a history of being merely a place where members only interacted through the clan stash and the occasional random post to the clan board. Since all of the members were already fairly active in the RinkWorks reader community, we were content to do all our interacting and talking about KoL there.

Attempts to make the Fellowship a more interactive place for its members began a couple months after the first clan revival that came with the implementation of Ascension. A series of clan-wide raffles were held, with the prizes being drawn and given away in private rooms in RinkChat. Despite the success of these raffles, the attention span of our membership began again to wane in the spring of 2006.

It was aroud this time that the Fellowship finally loosened the restrictions for membership and began accepting new members by referral, rather than requiring them to be already-active members of the RinkWorks community. One of the first of our new members made the suggestion of holding drives in order to replenish our empty coffers so that stat boosts could once again be purchased for our non-ronin/hardcore members. Two of these drives have been held to date.
